USS George Washington and USS Dwight D. Eisenhower



YOKOSUKA, Japan (Nov. 20, 2012) Family members of Sailors assigned to the Nimitz-class aircraft carrier USS George Washington (CVN 73) gather to greet the ship as it returns to Fleet Activities, Yokosuka. George Washington and embarked Carrier Air Wing (CVW) 5 provide a combat-ready force that protects and defends the collective maritime interest of the U.S. and its allies and partners in the Asia-Pacific region.
