The event will be from 7 – 9 pm on Saturday January 26 in the Sherburne Base Lodge at Burke Mountain in East Burke, VT. All are invited to attend and mingle with local artists while viewing their creations. A variety of work will be on exhibit including intricate mosaic art, hand-crafted furniture, fashion art, photography, paintings and even sheep shear paper cuttings. A professional sommelier will also be on site to offer wine samplings from across the globe as well as expert knowledge about the selections. Guests will also enjoy a variety of hors d’oeuvres and live music while socializing with neighbors and visitors to the area.
This will be the kick-off event for the newly formed Burke Area Arts Committee and with the help of our sponsors, Century 21 Farm & Forest Realty, Passumpsic Savings Bank and Catamount Arts, we hope to make this an annual event and host other arts & culture related events in the area.
