White House Schedule - July 8, 2013

In the morning, the President and the Vice President will receive the Presidential Daily Briefing in the Oval Office. This meeting is closed press. 

In the morning, the President will hold a meeting with his Cabinet and senior officials to lay out his vision for smarter government during his second term.  Following this meeting, the President will make a statement on his Management Agenda in the State Dining Room. The Cabinet meeting will be closed press and the President’s remarks will be pooled press.

In the afternoon, the Vice President will host a lunch meeting with Secretary of Defense Chuck Hagel at the White House. 

9:30 AM	The President and the Vice President receive the Presidential Daily Briefing Oval Office
10:30 AM	The President holds a Cabinet Meeting; The Vice President also attends Cabinet Room
11:50 AM	The President makes a statement on his Management Agenda State Dining Room
1:00 PM	Press Briefing by Press Secretary Jay Carney
