CASTLETON, Vt. – Following a pair of shutout victories in North Atlantic Conference play this week, junior Jessica Binkowski was named the ECAC Defensive Player of the Week, as announced on Tuesday.
Binkowski started twice in net, helping the squad maintain its
perfect 4-0 mark in the NAC. She opened the week with a seven-save
shutout in Castleton's 2-0 victory over New England College before
producing her second clean sheet of the week as the Spartans beat Green
Mountain 4-0. On the season, Binkowski holds a 6-5 record with a 1.56
GAA, .754 save percentage and three shutouts.
On Monday, the junior keeper was named the NAC Defensive Player of

Castleton returns to the pitch this weekend when it travels to Maine
to faceoff with conference opponents Maine-Farmington on Saturday at
12:30 pm and Thomas on Sunday at noon.
