Eagles Swept by SUNY ACC

POULTNEY, Vt. – SUNY Adirondack swung .176 as a team, amassing 30 kills as the Green Mountain College women's volleyball team fell to the Timberwolves, 3-0, in non-conference action on Wednesday evening at the Eagle Dome.
 
SUNY Adirondack (11-8) received eight kills from Emma Saxton while Megan Seeley added a game-high 20 digs to her seven kills and two solo blocks in the win. Stephanie Gengel directed the visitors' offense by registering 25 assists.

Green Mountain (0-13) was led by Torie Cowell (Rochester, N.Y.) who tallied five kills and three service aces. Mallory Wolf (Grand Junction, Colo.) notched four kills, three digs and three assists, while Hayley Loisel (Tolland, Conn.) led the team in digs with 11. Sandra Parra (Tucson, Ariz.) steered the offense with eight assists and added seven digs.

Green Mountain returns to the courts this weekend in non-conference play it heads up to Lyndon to take on the Hornets on Saturday at noon and then Me.-Presque Isle for a 2 p.m. start. The Timberwolves will also be in action on Saturday at noon when they host Word of Life in non-conference action.
