Halloween fun for Kids and Adults at the Flying Monkey this weekend.

Plymouth, New Hampshire - The Flying Monkey Performance Center is excited to celebrate Halloween this year with two exciting events.   The 3rd Annual Rocky Horror Picture Show on Friday, October 26th at Midnight.   Known for audience participation and props, this perennial favorite also features Dr. Xs Creatures Shadowcast.   And for the kids, Boo-Fest on Saturday, October 27th at 2pm.   This afternoon event is geared for children of all ages with a haunted theater, costume and scream contests, prizes, and for the main event the one-man circus-comedy of Etienne.  Tickets for Rocky Horror are $15 regular, and $10 for Students.  Tickets for Boo-Fest are $10 adult and $5 for kids under 12.

Rocky Horror is a late-night adults-only extravaganza.  The film blends interactive activities throughout the evening led by Dr. Xs Creatures Shadowcast.  Audience participation is what makes this event a blast, so come in your most outrageous costume, procure a prop grab bag full of goodies from concessions, and bring on the ‘Time Warp’.

Rocky Horror was released in 1975 as an obvious spoof on horror movies.  Engulfed with sexual exploration and raunchy song lyrics, the film gained a cult following which led to midnight showings across the US.   As naughty behavior is encouraged, this movie is for adults only.

Well, as Halloween wouldn't be Halloween without the kiddies, Saturday afternoon the whole family can go experience Boo-Fest.   The Flying Monkey will transform into a haunted theater for the event.   All children are encouraged to wear costumes and participate in the Blood Curdling Scream Contest.   Prizes will be handed out for both. Then…don’t be afraid, stay and enjoy the main event…

Étienne (pronounced "ay-tee-en")  will perform his hilariously (un)balanced blend of comedy and circus stunts with an odd assortment of props -- including a tuba, a ladder, and a seemingly endless collection of bottles. sets out to perform the impossible, with hilarious results, in a fresh and imaginative comedy spectacle that appeals to audiences young and old.   Étienne's outrageous physical comedy promises to keep everyone laughing long after the show has ended. Whether he is playing beautiful love songs on a tuba while precariously balanced atop an unsupported straight ladder, or performing incredible feats of acrobatic dexterity, this is a show that is certain to entertain both the young and old.

The Flying Monkey is quickly becoming known as the ‘best place in NH’ to see a show.   Go experience Dinner and a Show with World Class artists, state of the art sound and lighting, and unparalleled food and beverage service by the Common Man Family of Restaurants.

Tickets for Rocky Horror are $15 / $10 Student; Tickets for Boo-Fest are $10 / $5 Kids.   For tickets and more information on concerts and the Flying Monkey Performance Center, visit www.flyingmonkeynh.com or call 603-536-2551.
