Jessica Young scored twice to lead third-ranked Middlebury (4-2, 3-1) to a 3-1 NESCAC road win at ninth-ranked Connecticut College (4-1, 3-1). The Panthers will wrap up the first semester next Saturday with an in-state contest at Castleton.

Connecticut College opened the scoring 3:35 into the game on a power play goal from Kyla Floresca. The goal was the first power-play goal the Panthers had given up this season, killing their opponent's previous 21 opportunities.

Young evened the game at the 15:39 mark of the second period, putting home a rebound after a shot from Elizabeth Wulf had been saved.

The game remained at 1-1 until Carly Watson netted the game-winner on the power play 6:39 into the third period. Her shot from the top of the left circle came after a feed from Maddie Winslow.

Young added her second goal of the game on an empty net with 1:06 remaining to seal the win.

Connecticut College finished with a slim 28-27 advantage in shots. Middlebury's Lin Han made 27 saves in goal to earn the win, while Katherine Chester made 24 stops for the Camels.
