JUST IN: Severe Thunderstorm Warning including Dover NH, Rochester NH, Portsmouth NH until 7:00 PM EDT

The National Weather Service in Gray Maine has issued a

* Severe Thunderstorm Warning for...
  Southern York County in southwestern Maine...
  Northeastern Rockingham County in southern New Hampshire...
  Southern Strafford County in central New Hampshire...

* Until 700 PM EDT.

* At 616 PM EDT, severe thunderstorms were located along a line
  extending from near Barnstead to near Raymond to 7 miles southeast
  of Pelham, moving east at 50 mph.

  HAZARD...70 mph wind gusts.

  SOURCE...Radar indicated.

  IMPACT...Expect considerable tree damage. Damage is likely to
           mobile homes, roofs, and outbuildings.

* Locations impacted include...
  Rochester, Portsmouth, Hampton, Durham, Exeter, Kittery, Dover,
  Somersworth, Kennebunk, Barrington, Berwick, Farmington, Epping,
  Lebanon, Brentwood, Greenland, Kennebunkport, South Berwick, York
  and Newington.

This includes the following highways... Interstate 95 between mile
markers 1 and 21.
 Interstate 95 in New Hampshire between mile markers 0 and 16.

This also includes...
  Hampton Beach, York Beach, Ogunquit Beach, and Wells Beach.

PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS...

For your protection move to an interior room on the lowest floor of a
building.

These storms are producing widespread wind damage across. SEEK
SHELTER NOW inside a sturdy structure and stay away from windows!

Remember, if you can hear thunder, you are close enough to be struck
by lightning.

Torrential rainfall is occurring with these storms, and may lead to
flash flooding. Do not drive your vehicle through flooded roadways.
