NEW LIBRARY ORDINANCE - INFORMATION SESSION 
Wednesday, January 8, 6:30-7:30 pmMary Danko, Library Director, will give a brief overview of the draft new Library Ordinance and answer your questions.

 PROGRAMS FOR KIDS 
FAMILY PLAYSHOPAll Saturdays in January, 10:30-11:30 am
Families are invited to talk, play, read, write and sing while exploring a range of themes and rotating activities designed to promote school readiness, encourage creativity, and healthy development.  Drop-in program: space is limited to the first 20 families to sign in each Saturday morning.  Ages 0-5 with adult.
TUESDAY TUNES WITH COLLIN COPEAll Tuesdays in January, 11-11:30 am
Enjoy the rhythm and sounds of the guitar with local musician, Collin Cope. Ages 0-5.
FAMILY MATH NIGHTSaturday, Jan. 25: Drop-in 6-8 pm, Math Read-Aloud at 6:15 pmPajamas & Math = library fun and learning!  Who says we can't explore math at the library?! Grab your comfiest pajamas and head over to the library for a math-themed story, math snacks and games and other fun math activities to stretch your mind.  Target age group is 3-8 years old.

LEVEL UP!
Monday, Jan. 14, 3:30-4:30 pm
Level Up is a new series just for teens designed to provide life skills like cooking, resume writing, repairing and re-purposing clothes, growing vegetables, and more! In January, learn how to mend and alter! Bring in an old worn out (but clean) item of clothing, accessory, or other fabric item and learn how to use a sewing machine!  For ages 12+
SLIME
TEEN MAKERSPACE: SLIME!
Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2-3:30 pm
Crafts take over the Teen Space every Tuesday in January! Weaving, knitting, embroidery, paper crafts, circuits, and more! Stop by to work on a project or learn a new skill from your crafty Teen Librarian!  This week only, we're making SLIME!

This month the Friends will be featuring Arts, Crafts, Hobbies, and Pastimes. We will have items ranging from books on painting techniques and knitting to video games. Come pick up something to help you through the winter months, and help support your library in the process!
