USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98)
SOUDA BAY, Greece (Dec. 1, 2012) A messenger line is heaved ashore as the guided-missile destroyer USS Forrest Sherman (DDG 98) conducts a berth shift during a port visit. Forrest Sherman is homeported out of Norfolk and is deployed to the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility conducting maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts. USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7) Yesterday
MEDITERRANEAN SEA (Nov. 28, 2012) The multipurpose amphibious assault ship USS Iwo Jima (LHD 7), left, conducts a replenishment at sea with the Military Sealift Command fleet replenishment oiler USNS Laramie (T-AO 203). Iwo Jima is the flagship of the Iwo Jima Amphibious Ready Group with the embarked 24th Marine Expeditionary Unit and is deployed in support of maritime security operations and theater security cooperation efforts in the U.S. 6th Fleet area of responsibility.
