Ramsay
has helped lead the Colby-Sawyer Chargers to a 10-1 overall record and a
perfect 5-0 record in conference play throughout the month of
September. The senior went 9-1 in singles action at the No. 1 flight and
11-2 in doubles at the top flight, with her lone singles loss coming
against Division II Merrimack. Ramsay and teammate Ashley Woodside
(Hampden, Maine) won the Salve Regina Grass Court doubles tournament
for the second-straight season (Ramsay's third career doubles win at the
tournament) beating a duo from Holy Cross for the second straight
season. With her stellar September, Ramsay became Colby-Sawyer's
all-time leader in total career wins with 113.
One of her
highlight wins came in a three set thriller handing Endicott's top
player her only loss of the season as the Chargers defeated the Gulls
6-3. The team came away with wins against three NCAA tournament teams
from last year.
