GAME DESIGNER/ACTIVIST TO LECTURE AT JOHNSON STATE ON NOV. 14
Johnson, Vermont - Toronto-based designer/activist Una Lee, who uses games and graphics to imagine systems that are more humane and sustainable, will speak at Johnson State College at 2 p.m. Nov. 14 as part of the Impractical
Practicalities Series. The lecture will be held in the Cinema Room of Stearns Student Center.
Lee is currently designing a game that operationalized species survival using a mechanic that looks suspiciously like love.
The Impractical Practicalities Series showcases innovators of art, technology and science in order to explore the value of creative inquiry, experimental process and forward-thinking people and movements.
The event is free and open to the public.
