Waitsfield, Vermont - The Big Picture Theater & Cafe is gearing up for the indoor winter market which will start with two holiday markets on December 8 and 22, and will continue the last Saturday of the month through April 2013. Vendors are mostly from the Valley and the broader Montpelier area and will feature meats, cheeses, bread and baked goods, winter vegetables, maple products, canned and pickled goods along with herbal, fiber and other products.
The Big Picture Theater & Cafe is committed to buying local and is the sister company to Small Step Farm. By making the "Red Theater" available for the indoor market, it will contribute to the strong farm to plate mentality and desire to support local farmers in the Mad River Valley.
The market will start at 10am and run until 1pm. There will be live music and the Big Picture Café will be open for breakfast and lunch.
