Dixville Notch, New Hampshire-The First Votes Are Cast and Counted in Dixville Notch, New Hampshire.  The polls opened at 12:00AM and closed at 12:05.  Ten votes were cast and you guessed it 5 for President Obama and  5 for Republican challenger Mitt Romney!
It is going to be a long night.

What Just Happened? An Analysis of the Presidential Election

Manchester, Vermont - Whichever political camp you are in, there will be so much to talk about and think about after November 6! Join sought-after lecturer Paul Flaum for "What Just Happened? An Analysis of the Presidential Election" on Saturday, November 10 at 4:00pm at the Mark Skinner Library: Manchester's Public Library. Flaum will review the results of the election and the implications for the next four years.

A popular instructor with Elderhostel and the Osher Institute of Lifelong Learning at Berkshire Community College, Flaum is the former president of the New York State Council for the Social Studies; a former social studies educator and Superintendent of Schools in Smithtown, NY; and holds a professional diploma in Education Administration from Hofstra University.
