Burton Mountain Festival returns Waterville Valley Resort this February

Waterville Valley, New Hampshire - Waterville Valley Resort will host the Burton Mountain Festival by Burton Snowboards, which touches down on the slopes on February 8th.  This no charge on-snow experience includes a full 2013 Burton product demo, après entertainment, a Riglet Park for kids and a sponsor village with plenty of giveaways presented by MINI.

The Burton Mountain Festival is the most extensive, interactive and inspired snowboard demo experience in North America and features four key elements with something for all ages. The first and most prominent feature is the Try Gear 2013 Burton demo.  The newdemo program will encourage riders to try out Burton’s newest 2013 boards, bindings and boots all for free.

Next, for kids as young as three-years-old, the Burton Mountain Festival will feature a Riglet Park where they can try snowboarding for FREE. Burton will provide snowboards, boots and bindings sized for the smallest kids to borrow at no charge, as well as offering Burton’s revolutionary Riglet Reel, a specially designed reel attached to the nose of youth snowboards that makes learning easier than ever. Certified Waterville Valley Resort snowboard instructors will help kids learn to ride on mini features like boxes, ramps and rails at the Riglet Park.

This year’s Burton Mountain Festival will also encourage a little friendly fun in the park as Burton’s influential regional rep riders, the ‘Knowbuddies’, will be hosting ‘It’s Know Contest’. To stoke riders out, Knowbuddies will post up at different park features on South Street and Exhibition to giveaway Burton swag to those pulling off the most impressive tricks or just having the most fun.

And finally, the Burton Mountain Festival will feature après entertainment with music and fun activities to cap off a great day of riding on Saturday at Bucket’s. Stay tuned to www.burton.com/bmf for updates on après activities and to find out what’s happening at Waterville Valley Resorts Burton Mountain Festival.

Thanks to the presenting partner MINI and partners Mountain Dew, Mitch by Paul Mitchell, Snowboarder Magazine and anon. for their support of the second annual Burton Mountain Festival at Waterville Valley Resort.

Festival Schedule:
Friday – 9am – 4pm
Saturday 8am – 4pm, Après 2-5pm
Sunday 8am-4pm
