Cookies & Snow: A Sweet Taste of the Holidays at Waterville Valley Resort


Waterville Valley Resort, New Hampshire - Winter is no stranger to Waterville Valley Resort in New Hampshire’s White Mountains, but on December 15th, kids of all ages will get in the holiday spirit with a Cookies & Snow Celebration.

Cookies and treats baked fresh by local restaurants shops will be distributed throughout the businesses in Town Square.  Guests can stroll through the decorated shops and sample one of each cookie creation with their purchase of a “Cookie Coupon Book.”

Santa Claus himself will make an appearance at the ice arena, stroll through the Town Square courtyard around 2 p.m., and then settle in at the Book monger to read a children’s story to all.

And, cookies are not the only treat. Curious George story time is at 11:00 a.m. A free Holiday ice-skating party is scheduled from 1-2 p.m. with free skating and rentals at Waterville Valley’s indoor ice arena.  Kids can decorate a candy cottage at the annual Candy Cottage workshop hosted by the Recreation Department. Candy cottages will be displayed throughout the afternoon with a prize for first and second place.
