THE BIG KICKER TO WINTER AT THE BIG PICTURE

Waitsfield, Vermont - Mad River Glen and Sugarbush Resort will host an epic kick-off party to celebrate the 2012/2013 ski and ride season at the Big Picture Theater & Café on Saturday, November 17th starting at 5pm. The party includes a freestyle exhibition from Mad River Glen and Sugarbush freestyle teams, a premiere of Meathead's new film, 'No Matter What', a presentation from winter sports non-profits, Flyin' Ryan Hawks Foundation and High Fives, and concludes with a concert featuring local rock group, The Big Basin Band.

There will be Season Passes to both resorts raffled off all night, beer and cocktail specials, a chili bar, Cabot Cheese samples and more. This event is free and open to the public. Please visit the Big Picture website or on Facebook for a list of events.

Flyin' Ryan Hawks Foundation is a non-profit inspired by the life of Ryan Hawks, a well-known and widely respected extreme skier passed who away from injuries sustained during a Freeskiing World Tour.

High Fives is a non-profit dedicated to raising money and awareness for athletes that have suffered a life altering injury while pursuing their winter action sports dream.
