Big Impact Made by Centrix Bank Community Outing Fundraising Program

Fisher Cats/Centrix Bank partnership aids organizations in raising funds & awareness
Manchester, New Hampshire - The New Hampshire Fisher Cats, Double-A affiliate of the Toronto Blue Jays, and Centrix Bank announced today that the Centrix Bank Community Outing Fundraising Program continues to make a big impact. Through ticket fundraisers and 50/50 raffles at Fisher Cats games, local non-profit and community groups had the opportunity to raise $113,795 for their respective causes in 2012. That figure raises the total dollars potentially generated by these groups to nearly $450,000 in the last four years.

"This dollar amount really indicates that more and more groups are continually looking for new ways to raise money to support their missions," said Joseph B. Reilly, President/CEO of Centrix Bank. "This is a great way for Centrix Bank to partner with the Fisher Cats and share the common goal of supporting the vital work of these organizations in our community."

Through the Centrix Bank Community Outing Fundraising Program, non-profit organizations can retain up to $4 for every ticket they sell to a Fisher Cats game. Groups can raise additional funds through in-game 50/50 raffles and other opportunities at the ballpark. Just as important as raising funds, these community organizations are able to increase awareness for their causes and spread their message during their game.

"This program has such a far-reaching positive impact, and it wouldn't be possible without Joe Reilly and Centrix Bank," said Fisher Cats President Rick Brenner. "We are blessed to have a beautiful facility and great partners to find new ways to impact our local communities through ventures like this."

With the success of programs like the Centrix Bank Community Outing Fundraising Program, the Fisher Cats and the Fisher Cats Foundation are approaching the $2 million mark in charitable giving since 2006. Those donations have been used to foster relationships with more than 3,000 non-profit organizations.
