Tale of the Tape
- Eight different KSC players recorded a goal as the Owls recovered from an early deficit.
- Arnold and Rotatori each scored four, while Tyler McKelvie had three goals and two assists. Tyler Reilly had two goals and three helpers, while Paul Beling, Frank Bacarella, Mitch Hale, and Ethan Cyr all potted one.
- Mathew Howe and Alex Sharp each played a half in goal for the Owls. Howe made six saves in the first half, and Sharp made 10 stops in the second half.
- Keene State outshot the Panthers 51-32, won 17 of 30 faceoffs, caused 10 turnovers, and scooped up 33 groundballs.
First Half Highlights
- Colin Claflin scored the first two goals of the game for an early PSU lead, but Rotatori scored twice and McKelvie once as the Owls led 3-2 at the end of the first quarter.
- KSC shutout the Panthers in the second quarter, taking advantage of a pair of man-up opportunies and outscoring PSU 5-0 in the frame.
- Reilly and Arnold both scored with a Plymouth State player in the box, and Bacarella made it 6-2 off a pass from Reilly. Even being down a man did not phase the Owls, as Rob Hart set up McKelvie for another goal, and Beling scored unassisted for an 8-2 lead at halftime.
Second Half Highlights
- The Owls picked up where they left off in the second half, scoring the first three goals of the third quarter through Arnold, Reilly, and Rotatori.
- Mac Teatreault got the Panthers on the board in the second half, but the Owls got goals from Hale and Rotatori sandwiched around another PSU goal to lead 13-4 after one.
- Arnold scored two more and McKelvie another in the early minutes of the fourth quarter to extend the lead to 16-4.
- Plymouth State scored five of the final six goals of the game to set the final margin.
